"Do STABULON™ tie-sheets work with any packaging materials?"
Answer: Yes they do, the COF (Static Coefficient of Friction) for the STABULON™ is above 42 ° on paper or cardboard. It is higher on glass and works on plastic materials (bags in HDPE, PP...) and on printed and varnished surfaces. What matters most is the contact surface betweenSTABULON™ and the palletized items must be optimal.

"How many STABULON™ tie-sheets should be placed per skid?"
Answer: To achieve the best stabilization, one tie-sheet per layer is recommended. It is first crucial to place one on top of the wooden or plastic skids in order to unify the skid to the palletized items & to prevent moisture from coming up from the wooden skids. Between the layers, the amount of tie-sheets will depend on the ratio weight/volume of the palletized items. Ask a sales representative for any advice & requests to run a test.

"Are there any other sizes than 37'' x 45''? " 
Answer: Food and non-food Industries request tie-sheets slightly smaller than the skids for the following reasons:
•  not damage the stretch wrap
•  to get aesthetically-pleasing skids
•  surface-savings = cost-savings

"How many times can STABULON™ tie-sheets be used?"
Answer: As long as they resist to mechanical tensions. They can be re-used between manufacturing plants and distribution warehouses where items are de-palletized and re-palletized. Studies have shown STABULON™ tie-sheets recycled up to 5 times.

"What specific conditions for automatic palletization?"
Answer: STABULON™ tie-sheets are usable with any automatic robot. 
Only 2 technical conditions for better picking:
•  Suction cups across the surface of the sheets
•  Plastic brush to refrain the sheets underneath from lifting

"How can I reduce my stretch wrap budget?" 
Answer: As the most efficient solution to unitize the layers, the STABULON™ tie-sheets considerably reduce the amount of stretch wrap being used (up to 70 %). We advise to lightly stretch wrap the skids to protect them from rain and dust.

"What are the advantages vs glue systems?"
Answer: The STABULON™ tie-sheets can be placed by hand, with no specific robotic equipment. They do not stick to items and therefore do not leave any marks on items, are re-usable, allow picking (repositioning on skids) when glue sprays require constant maintenance to prevent dryness.
